What you’ll do?
This is a full-time role based at our Stoke-on-Trent depot in the Midlands. As part of our Intelligent Traffic Solutions team, you will work with our Project Supervisors as we survey, plan, design, install and, commission CCTV & TASCAR on the UK strategic road network.
The role is predominantly night-time working with occasional weekend working, there will also be frequent working away from home depending on the project.
We vary our working times to meet customer needs but this enables us to have a more dynamic working arrangement.
What we’re looking for?
You have experience working with CCTV, technology, street lighting or other highways infrastructure. It would be desirable but not necessary to have spent time working on the National Highways Road Network.
It would be desirable if you:
- Hold a CSCS or ECS card.
- Are competent on computers and confident using technology.
- You have an understanding of CCTV, networking, and set-up of network equipment.
- You have an understanding of basic electrical circuits.
- You have an IPAF certificate and Lorry Loader / Slinger Signaller
What you’ll need?
- Full clean UK driving Licence (Preferably with a Class 1 or Class 2 endorsement).
- Ability to travel and stay away from home when required.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Have the ability to work in a fast moving and challenging environment.
- Ability to self-motivate and work alone, or collaboratively as part of a team.
